Hopkinsville Community College

Traditional-aged students are post-secondary students under 25 years old who enroll directly from high school; non-traditional students are typically 25 years of age or older, who may have delayed post-secondary education enrollment, are financially independent of parents, work full-time, and/or have dependents other than spouse; special populations refers to students who must overcome barriers that may require special consideration and attention to ensure equal opportunity for success and in an educational setting.

Must have a 2.5 GPA, have a cumulative HS attendance of 95%+, and enroll in GEN 100 college orientation course. Regardless of a student's county of residence, any student who graduates from Christian County High School, Hopkinsville High School, Heritage Christian Academy, or University Heights Academy and meets the requirements stated below will be eligible.

Hopkinsville Rotary Scholars is available to students who maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA throughout high school and graduate from Christian County High School, Hopkinsville High School, Heritage Christian Academy, or University Heights Academy with a 95% cumulative attendance record during high school. Additionally, students must complete an Orientation to College course (tuition waived). The Promise covers four semesters and can be used at Hopkinsville Community College for a vocational award or for the general education requirements needed for an Associate's or Bachelor's degree. Must enroll as a full–time student to receive the Promise.
